Based in North Wales, we are hobbyist bug breeders with a focus on isopods. We also keep and breed a small selection of reptiles, so exotics are right up our alley!
Our focus is to provide healthy, and high quality bugs with the aim of making the hobby accessible to anyone. We produce wonderful beginner species such as the classic P.Laevis, to those looking for more of a challenge with P.Werneri. We're always working with new species, so keep an eye out on our site for updates.

All orders are shipped out via Royal Mail, buyers choice of either Tracked 24 or Special Delivery. Prices are shown on checkout. Free Special Delivery is available on orders over £100.
Livestock Shipping days are Mondays and Tuesdays as standard. Orders cut off 1pm the previous day for shipments, anything made later will be shipped at the next shipping date. Orders not containing livestock may ship out earlier.

Short answer - Yes.
When temperatures drop below 5c or higher than 25c on average, we may delay the order to ensure the survivability of your isopods. If this happens, we will clearly contact you and keep you informed when we believe will be safer to ship. When colder weather is in place but within safe parameters, we may include a heatpad to help keep your pods warm during their journey.
Whilst we try to keep our populations and varied species high, we are only a hobbyist breeder - Sometimes our populations will run low, and sometimes we just haven't got round to breeding a specific species yet. We tend to keep our species list updated, so keep an eye out for any updates on the site!
You're in luck - all of our species has a general guide on what they are like to keep, as well as a Star rating for Custodian and Pet suitability, and a difficulty rating. Take a look to see if anything fits your interests! This is currently a work in process, so if any don't have guides and you want more information, please feel free to contact us!
If you're still looking for a good beginner species... We always recommend P. Laevis. Prolific, hardy and available in a wide range of colour morphs!
