Porcellio spatulatus are an unusual Mediterranean species, growing large in size and having a lovely flat shape. They have a nicely defined skirt, and do well in a range of habitats but prefer a decent dry area with lots of hides. With a decent breeding rate, these are a fun addition to any collection and are relatively easy in terms of maintenance.
As the name implies, the Coros locality of spatulatus comes from the area of Coros in Sardinia. They present with a much more defined skirt colour wise, and can throw up shades of orange. With their light silver skirts and more defined pattern, they're a lovely alternative to the more traditional wildtype spatulatus.
